EOH IN BRITISH MUSEUM

Eye Of Horus is excited to announce we are now stocked at the British Museum as part of the Sunken Cities - Egypt's Lost Worlds Exhibition. Running 19th May - 27th November '16.

The exhibition features hundereds of ancient artifacts found from all over Egypt but particularly deep from the Nile River.

Vanished beneath the waters of the Mediterranean, the lost cities of Thonis-Heracleion and Canopus lay at the mouth of the Nile.

Named after the Greek hero Heracles, Thonis-heracleion was one of Egypt's most important commercial centres for trade with the Mediterranean world and, with Canopus, was a major centre for the worship of the Egyptian gods.

Their amazing discovery is transforming our understanding of the deep connections between the great ancient civilisations of Egypt and Greece.

Eye Of Horus Cosmetics was selected to be featured in the British Museum store as it ties in perfectly with the ancient Egyptian theming. Attendees and Egypt lovers have been snapping up the EOH range while visiting the Exhibition.

We visited the Museum and attended the fascinating exhibit. Although we weren't allowed to take pictures of the actual exhibition we managed to get a few from the day.
