Monochromatic Makeup Look

Bold colours are seeing a resurgence, which has naturally lead to the comeback of the monochromatic eyeshadow look.

Monochromatic makeup looks, as it suggests, focus on the use of single colour.
Creating a monochromatic eyeshadow look can be as simple as a single wash of colour over the entire lid or for a more elaborate look, you can continue to layer other variations of the same shade. The level of difficulty is dependent on how dramatic you want your look to be.

Most often, the monochromatic makeup technique is used to achieve a natural-looking complexion that is truly polished and put together. However, with the recent comeback of colour, we’re seeing more and more women get creative and go bold with their beauty looks, placing emphasis on the eyes. We’re going to walk you through how to recreate this statement monochromatic eye look in three simple steps.

3 steps to a statement beauty look

Apply your chosen colour over the entire lid using the flat Vegan Eyeshadow brush.
To create this look, we used the Goddess Pencil in shade Teal Malachite but you can make this look entirely your own by choosing your preferred Goddess pencil colour.

Continue to layer your preferred shade with the Vegan Blending Brush to deepen the intensity. Blend the edges with the remaining product on the brush. Repeat until the desired look is achieved.

We finished the look with a few swipes of the Bio Lip Elixir (talk about being multi-purpose!) over the entire lid. This offers a high shine, non-stick finish for maximum impact.
