It all began with a single mascara meticulously crafted for sensitive eyes. This iconic product – known as the Goddess Mascara – quickly became the cornerstone of the brand and still to this day, remains the top performing product in the entire collection.

We are committed to creating small-batch, locally made products whenever possible, delivering formulas that meet the highest standards of quality and care. Our meticulous approach to product formulation, ensures every ingredient is ethically sourced and of the highest quality. The entire collection is formulated to be cruelty-free, paraben-free, gluten-free, free from harsh chemicals and predominantly vegan-friendly – the only animal derived ingredient is certified, ethically sourced beeswax, used exclusively in our Goddess Mascara and Goddess Pencil.

Sustainability as a clean beauty brand presents ongoing challenges. Packaging must preserve formula integrity which often means complex, multi-material components making products difficult to recycle. Navigating these realities means making considered choices, investing in better materials and rethinking traditional systems to move closer to a circular model.
Circularity is at the forefront of product design and development at Eye of Horus. Contrary to the traditional linear economy–make, use, and dispose–the circular economy focuses on make, use and reuse or recycle. We are continuously working towards designing packaging that is durable, refillable and made from recycled or endlessly recyclable materials wherever possible.
Currently, 90% of our product range is Refillable or made from Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) materials – and we’re on track to reach 96% alignment by 2026. Here’s the breakdown:

Return and Earn: Terracycle Zero Waste Box.
Beauty products, in particular, cosmetics are especially challenging to recycle, with very small complex componentry that cannot be processed at commercial waste facilities. We prioritise sourcing responsible materials wherever possible, however, the packaging is just one piece; where it goes when you’re done is another.
Through the TerraCycle Zero Waste Box™, used beauty packaging is collected, sorted, and transformed into raw materials for new products – keeping complex cosmetic waste out of landfill. For items that can’t be refilled, we offer our in-house TerraCycle recycling program, available both online and in-store.
We encourage our Australian customers to mail 5 empty Eye of Horus beauty products to be responsibly disposed of through our Terracycle Zero Waste Box and earn a $20 voucher to replenish their beauty in return.
