Autumn Beauty Trends

The arrival of Autumn is the perfect time to mix up your makeup routine. Whether you favour statement looks or lend towards understated beauty, Autumn beauty trends are all about ease and versatility. From simple to striking, we show you some of the major makeup trends for the season and our go-to products to achieve these looks.

STATEMENT ACCENTS

One of the biggest Autumn beauty trends is taking one feature, think eyes, cheeks or lips, and applying a statement shade. The key to this trend is keeping your base glowing and lightweight in order to showcase colours and textures. Think bold lipstick paired with simple eyeliner and glazed, natural skin.

MONOCHROMATIC SHIMMER

Monochromatic shimmer is a really simple look, using the same highlight color on your cheeks, cheekbones, brow bone, eyes, and even overall on your skin for a harmonious radiance.

BURNT BLUSH

The sunburn blush trend that took over this summer is evolving into burnt blush come Autumn. Swap out those pink tones for terracotta, brick, and peachy hues.
For burnt blush, add Peach or Sahara from the Custom Complexion Duo to the apples of your cheeks. The Bio Lipstick Aurora Peach can also be tapped into the cheeks for a flush of colour. You can also blend the blush across the bridge of your nose and under your eyes for the best burnt blush look.

SMUDGED EYELINER

Precision wings have trended for years, but soft, sultry, and smudged liner is taking over this fall. And, it can be worn in multiple colours—not just black, gray, and brown.
To recreate this look, first prep your eyelids with an eyeshadow that’s close to your natural skin tone. Then, line the inner rims of your eyes with a creamy pencil. Next, smudge it into the inner lash line. After that, apply eyeliner to the roots of both your top and bottom eyelashes, smudge again, and finish with some eyeshadow on top.
