Inspired by our Teal Malachite Sale, we introduce our collaboration – Goddess of the Sky.
We had the pleasure of getting back into the studio and behind the lens. Armed with one of our absolute favourites and best sellers, the Teal Malachite Pencil, we teamed up with Meesh, of @MeeshkaJewellery and our friends at @HendrixandHarlow for an exotic, bright, and opulent shoot.
Malachite, a brilliant green-blue opaque stone, is the stone of clarity. Ancient Egyptians believed that the goddess of the sky dropped stars on the Earth in the form of green stones. Egyptians used it in jewellery and amulets, also grinding it down to apply to eyes of the pharaohs. Carrying on this age old lust for colour and clarity; blues, greens and golds formed the basis for the palette of this shoot. It perfectly complements the stunning Isis pieces of Meeshka’s Almika Collection and the latest release Jewel of Rishikesh Kimono in Aqua from Hendrix & Harlow’s ‘The Way She Moves’ collection.
Our stunning model @caitprovan was an absolute pleasure to work with. A gem in her own right, we couldn’t have wished for a better canvas to paint, drape and accessorise.
Photographer @dotheinstathinghy always brings such positive energy to everything she touches. H@M by @elvismua, we are so privileged to work with an artist who campaigns for vegan and cruelty free makeup artistry. Last but not least, our wonderful collaborators @MeeshkaJewellery and @HendrixandHarlow provided the ideal pieces to complement the Goddess style.
